By now, you might be familiar with our workshop "How To Taste Like A Pro" in which we learned the various "markers" helping a pro to identify wine quality & style. Expanding on this series, we now focus on each major grape varieties.
The objective of our workshop is now to identify the specific characteristics of each grapes and the subtle differences found from around the world.
By comparing and contrasting the wines throughout the evening, we focus on the clues in the glass to draw a picture of each wines and regions of origin. We learn about structure, aromatic profile, wine making technique, and the influence of "terroir".

This tasting will be led by JC Viens, who is a Certified Tutor of the Wine and Spirits Education Trust (WSET) and a holder of the WSET Diploma (Merit). He is now studying to become Master of Wine. Avid wine lover and a storyteller, he has traveled extensively throughout the various wines regions around the world.
