WSET Level 1 award in Wines
An introduction perfect to enter the world of the WSET to understand its Approach and plan studies for Levels 2 & 3.
For individuals new to the WSET, this qualification provides a hands-on introduction to their Approach and our teaching methods. You’ll explore their concept of wine style and quality through sight, smell, and taste, while also gaining the skills to describe wines accurately and make food and wine pairings. An excellent primer to those who want to continue to Level 2 and 3 with us. Upon successful completion you will receive a WSET certificate and lapel pin.
Over 1 intensive day, at least 10 benchmark wines from all over the world will be tasted.

WSEt Level 2 Award in wines
WSET's Level 2 Award in Wines is an intermediate-level qualification exploring wines, suitable for industry professionals.
For individuals who have attended Level 1 and want to open their minds to the international world of wine. You’ll gain knowledge of the principal and regionally important grape varieties of the world, the regions in which they are grown, and the styles of wine they produce. Through a combination of tasting and theory, you’ll explore the factors that impact style and quality and learn how to describe these wines with confidence. This qualification is excellent for those who want to build a solid base to pursue WSET Level 3 Award in Wines.
Over 3 intensive days, at least 45 benchmark wines from all over the world will be tasted.

WSET LEVEL 3 AWARD IN WINES
An advanced level qualification for professionals working in the wine industry.
For individuals seeking to develop an international perspective of the world of wines, this qualification provides a detailed understanding of grape growing and wine making in the most important wine regions of the world. Upon completion you will be able to assess wines accurately, and use your understanding to confidently explain wine style and quality. Upon successful completion you will receive a WSET certificate and lapel pin, and will be able to use the associated WSET certified logo.
Over 5 intensive days, at least 75 benchmark wines from all over the world will be tasted.

Our teacher:
JC Viens has been a WSET Certified Educator since 2009 (13 years), teaching in Hong Kong and Italy, where he hosted courses and coaching workshops at all levels. He trained as a Wine Judge with the Australian Wine Research Institute, and recently, he was Judge at the rigorous Decanter World Wine Awards in London and Hong Kong. He was Franciacorta Ambassador in Greater China from 2019 to 2021, gaining insights into the all-important markets of Hong Kong and China.
