It's a little ironic that most of my friends look for new experiences as they travel & what satisfies me the most as I do is the comfort of the déjà-vu...
Nowadays, as I travel, I love to return to old places, stay in the same rooms, & eat at the same restaurants as I have always done. Friedrichshafen, where I have returned at this time for the last 20 year exactly gives me that satisfaction.
Of the great many wine regions I have visited in the last 3-4 years, this one must be the 2nd or 3rd most beautiful (after the Douro & Salta)... I am sorry that my photos below absolutely do not render justice to the sheer beauty of the landscapes & its many terraces. A beautiful region worth a visit, just a stone throw from Alsace...
