How most definitely delightful is it to reach a new restaurant in a far-away city and be greeted by a familiar face??

Yearly for the past 20 years, I have come to Taipei for a very important trade fair in my "other industry" and each year I have brought clients to "Ziga Zaga", an Italian restaurant in The Grand Hyatt Taipei. This time, because I met sommelier extra-ordinaire Jean-Marc Nolant last October, I decided try － The Table － private dining where J-M is in charge of the wine as managing partner.

But, to my complete surprise, it was an absolute delight to be greeted by the lovely April who, by coincidence, also greeted us all these years at Ziga Zaga! The evening most definitely started on the right foot!

The wonderful dishes expertly cooked by Chef Simone & a wonderful wine selection by super kind & knowledgeable Sommelier Jessica made our time feel at home away from home.

It certainly helped that the atmosphere was cosy & warm w/ a nice homey feel to the room overlooking both the kitchen & inside their wine cellar.

An experience to be repeated each time I will return to Taipei!
