Bodega Atamisque Serbal Malbec-Rosé 2012 - So delightful, the bottle is already empty...

A good thing my sweet Maria is out dancing tango this evening.  She probably would not approve of my eagerness to taste this absolutely delightful rosé from Tupungato in the Valle de Uco of Argentina's Mendoza...

Lovely complexity with roasted strawberry notes, dried rose petals, & a touch smoky.  Succulent texture, at once velvety & fresh, juicy, & full bodied. The length is lip-smacking with an excitingly spicy kick & pretty good aromatic after-taste.

Here is a wine with an excellent balance of components, a little chewy & oh-so refreshing at the same time. It has good density and enough complexity to make it absolutely suitable for drinking with food roasted food on the "asado".  For the price paid, it offers excellent value!

A wonderful drink on this very warm & balmy evening on my balcony under the stars & overlooking the borough of Palermo Soho in Buenos Aires....

Ahah!  By the way, we started it last night as apperitif to celebrate Milena last evening with us in Argentina...  It has not changed much since opening it 30 hours ago...
